5th ANNUAL KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - MAY 2nd, 2009

The Midwest Self-Defense Arts Association sponsors an annual tournament each year. Our next Tournament will be held on May 2nd, 2009 at Summit Hall, 6182 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 42611.

This tournament is hosted to bring martial arts into the forefront of the community and to bring local martial artist together for training and comradery. Spectators are welcome. A $5.00 admission fee will be collected at the door.

Each tournament has several categories of competition that each student can compete in. These consist of Kata, Sparring, Weapons, Swordsmanship, Chanbara, Iaido. Each category is judged by experienced, knowledgable, and fair judges.
